Between November 5 and 6, 2025, the “ELTE Innovation Days 2025 – An Innovative Approach to Social Responsibility” event series welcome interested parties with inspiring roundtable discussions, scientific results, an international exchange, and a place for networking in Budapest.
ELTE INNOVATION DAY

Venue: ELTE Aula Magna (1053 Budapest, Egyetem tér 1-3).
The event will showcase ELTE’s most important corporate partnerships and present awards for the most exciting ELTE developments. The aim of the event is to encourage the utilization of knowledge generated at the university and basic research, and to strengthen the relationship between the university and the corporate sector. The event will also recognize the institution’s innovative educators and students with outstanding innovative achievements.

POINTS OF INSPIRATION: SOCIAL INNOVATIONS IN PRACTICE

Venue: ELTE Aula Magna (1053 Budapest, Egyetem tér 1-3.)
The National Laboratory for Social Innovation program aims to bring together researchers, developers, social innovators, policy makers, and market partners in a common space. The goal is twofold: on the one hand, to showcase the new scientific results of the research, development, and innovation projects carried out within the framework of TINLAB, and on the other hand, to examine how these forms of knowledge can be put to practical use. The event has both a scientific and a community structure: the roundtable discussion focuses on the experiences and dilemmas of social innovation research, the pitches highlight the latest results from universities, and the “Research & Market” section offers live examples of how scientific work meets social and economic needs. This event is therefore not only a report, but also a meeting point: we approach the same question from different perspectives – how social innovation can measurably improve quality of life and the functioning of communities.

SI FAIR – Social Innovation Exhibition and Fair

Venue: Eiffel Art Studios (1101 Budapest, Kőbányai út 30.)
The Social Innovation Exhibition and Exchange is an international event held in English, with the aim of presenting the current results, future prospects, and practical solutions of social innovation, with a particular emphasis on sharing international experiences, domestic best practices, and opportunities for cross-sectoral cooperation. The event will focus on pitch presentations of the most exciting social innovation projects, roundtable discussions, and worldbuilding (joint future-building) workshops and exercises. This is a unique opportunity to learn about international experiences, discover domestic best practices, and network.
